Of course I listen to music but it tends to be either playlists I’ve built over the years or 6Music in true middle aged dad fashion.
But I do listen to a lot of podcasts. Way more than I thought to be honest.

PocketCasts is my player of choice, it lets me schedule what I’m listening to, downloads when I want it to etc. and in their wrap up apparently I listened to over 41k minutes of podcasts this year. I do tend to have them on as background noise quite a lot but even so!

The other thing I found interesting was my most listened podcasts.

It got me thinking about the different bubbles that the listening is compartmentalised into. I obviously listen to a lot of tech, movie, and comedy podcasts. I do think it would be interesting if some of the hosts ended up chatting to each other. For example, I suspect Mark Kermode and Andy Ihnatko would be firm friends within an hour or two of chatting.
