We ain’t in Kansas any more, in fact as far as I can tell Kansas City almost isn’t either, it’s right on the state line with Missouri. So the drive today has been right across Missouri to St Louis which is a fairly run down industrial city. There wasn’t much to see in the city centre, but it’s Sunday so no complaints there. St Louis is known for the Gateway Arch which is pretty impressive if a little pointless (in every sense of the word). No real plans for the rest of the day, I’ve been getting in to the NBA playoffs so I might catch a game or two in the hotel bar tonight, tomorrow I’m driving up to Chicago for a few days in the windy city. It’ll be nice to have a break from the driving for a while.
