i have bought a few new tools and books this week, without exception they are
extremely useful so in no particular order:
he mythical man month: essays on software engineering
apid development: taming software schedules
eopleware: productive projects and teams
you may notice a theme in the books. we did a quick tot up of the work we have
to do before christmas and the targets are just achievable… if noone sleeps
for the next two months. i am looking for inspiration on how to handle the
requirements without causing too much trouble, although it seems a pretty tall
order.
this afternoon won’t be too productive as we had a bit of a liquid lunch.
which’ll go down as team building i think!
