after 6 weeks i am back home. the plane landed at 05:00 this morning and dad
was there to pick me up. it’s just a matter of getting through the day without
falling asleep now.
it looks like i have a contract to go back to but i am not sure i want to. i
just phoned in and there have been quite a lot of problems with one of the
areas i worked on before i left. hopefully it’s something i can sort out fairly
quickly when i get back in next monday.
now i’m going to plough through my pile of mail and see what needs to be done,
otherwise i just plan to collapse on the sofa for the rest of the day.

Hi Matthew – welcome back! I’m pleased that the final leg of your journey went well – I should think it feels strange to be back in the house – they always feel so empty for the first few hours. FI and I are looking forward to seeing you and the family the weekend after next. Sleep well tonight!
