SHOW112 Building an XPages App from Start to Finish Session Downloads

Well now that we've finished the last repeat of our session at Lotusphere 2010, I thought I'd post the details of the downloads.

You can get the zip here.

It includes:

  • The presentation slides
  • The start and final session databases
  • Script snippets file
It should all be pretty self explanatory, but if you have issues then please drop me a line.

Another excellent xpage resource.
I do have one question though, what is going to differentiate the Notes client from a Browser, or something like Chrome OS?

Wayne,

At the moment, Notes' killer feature is still, after all these years, replication. You can run XPages in your Notes client, replicate your data and still be working on the plane.

In the medium to long term I tend to agree with you that the lines are all blurring, I suspect we'll see a lot more information as the vision of Project Vulcan begins to solidify.

Well, Notes will take longer to launch.

No need to duck away. An answer I got was that you can also use Composite Applications and combine them with XPages.
Not a satisfying answer to me but maybe for others.

Hi Matt,
Excellent resource, thanks. I have one issue. On slide 61, I can't seem to find the "errortext" class in the css file. Am I missing something?
