I know I’ve been posting little else than Idea Jam content here recently. Well Bruce and Declan have set up an Idea Jam blog for us to post all news there. It does mean that there’ll be even less posted here for the moment, but hopefully my workload will get under control over Christmas and I’ll get back to some semblance of normality.
Until then, keep your ideas coming, we are working on bug fixes, features and the Idea Jam product over the next few weeks.

my biggest ‘problem’ with IdeaJam is, is that the ‘great ideas’ on the right are ‘all time’ nominations, so they are already visible for a longer period and therefor get more nominations that new ideas.I think this gives not a correct impression if some idea is better than the other, just which idea is most ‘read’ or being displayed to a user…so a ‘greatest idea’s of last week’ should give newer thoughts a better chance<img alt="Emoticon" src="http://www.11tmr.com/11tmr.nsf/emoticons/DLYH-5N3GM4/$File/embarassed.gif“ />

Hi Patrick,We are working on ways to give ideas more time on the front page and also changing the ways that the “top” ideas are displayed. The first step towards this is the “What’s Hot” page { http://ideajam.net/ideajam/p/ij.nsf/whatshot“ rel=”nofollow” target =”blank”>Link } which shows you active ideas today, yesterday, int he last week and the last month.Ultimately we want to get away from the list of ideas on the front page and have more of a “portal” look. But we are still at version 1 of the product, there is a lot more work to do.Matt
