Judith, Matt and I drove up to Nottingham over the weekend to see baby Elspeth now that she has come home from hospital. Cue two very nervous looking uncles not really knowing how to hold a baby. She is lovely though. For friends and family, there are some new piccies over at Flickr.
We had stopped for lunch at a Little Chef on the way up, a foolish thing to do all round as the food wasn’t great to start with and by the time we were driving home, Matt was really not very well at all. A journey which usually takes under two hours took around 3 because we had to stop so many times for “comfort” breaks. Not a pleasant experience for Matt I don’t think.
