So we managed to throw away the football in the last two minutes last night. But it wouldn’t be a major competition without us making it hard for ourselves. The cricket was a better story with a steely run chase that we won for a change.
Ignoring the sport the rest of the weekend was rather relaxing in preparation for a busy week. It looks like I’m off to Amsterdam on Thursday for an hour long meeting. I haven’t been for a quite a while so it will make a nice change. But it does mean I’ll miss the next England game I suppose that could be a good or a bad thing depending on your outlook.
