continuing my music buying spree of late i have got three new albums today – electric six, fire is just a fun pop/rock jaunt with
the two singles (danger! high voltage and gay bar) as the standout tracks.
polyphonic spree’s the beginning staged of… is an
excellent uplifting summer album as long as you exclude the staggeringly self
indulgent 36 minute long last track of ambient noise. finally we have yoshimi battles the pink robots by the
flaming lips which has to be one of the best album titles ever. they have been
around for ages but i only came across them at the weekend while watching some
of the glastonbury coverage. all in all, three good buys. – flaminglips.gif
