spam

i am extremely careful with my email address (you won’t find it on this site
for example) and yet i still get a huge amount of spam. i often know who the
offenders are (using my own domain means that i can create unlimited addresses
to track who sells my details without my permission) but this doesn’t stop the
spam coming to my inbox.

this article highlights an
option which i have been seriously considering for the last few weeks. my only
problem is a worry over invoices / receipts when i buy things online. there is
no way of knowing which address is going to send you the receipt, but likewise
it will not have a human on the other end who can decipher my reply.

it’s a tough one, if someone came up with an answer they’d be set for life!
